Premier League side keen on signing Joao Felix from Chelsea

Aston Villa have expressed interest in signing Joao Felix from Chelsea during the January transfer window, as per reports.

Chelsea have had a quiet transfer window by their standards but the Blues could find themselves among the headlines during the final days of the window, which is scheduled to close on February 3.

According to talkSPORT, Chelsea are open to listening to offers for Felix, who only moved to Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis last summer in a deal worth £43 million from Atletico Madrid.

The Portugal international has struggled to play regularly under Enzo Maresca, who has handed him just three Premier League starts.

Villa appear ready to hand Felix a lifeline, as they are reportedly eyeing a loan move before the close of the winter window.

However, the Birmingham based outfit have also agreed personal terms over a January loan switch with Chelsea defender Axel Disasi.

It is thought that Villa would only be able to sign one of the pair on loan during the current window, leaving Emery with a big decision to make.

As far as incomings are concerned, Chelsea have set their sights on Alejandro Garnacho.

United are surprisingly willing to sell the Argentina international, who has also been linked with Napoli, for the right price. They are believed to be demanding a fee in the region of €70m.

Chelsea have made some initial enquiries but they are yet to lodge a formal bid for the 20-year-old United star.
