Torino President Sets €100m Price Tag On Andrea Belotti

Torino have slapped a colossal €100m price tag on their coveted striker Andrea Belotti, according to latest reports.
The Torino hitman is one of the most sought after strikers in the summer transfer window. The attacker, who scored an impressive 26 goals and assisted 7, has been linked with transfer away to clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Italy international has a release clause of €100 million in his contract with the Serie A club, which interestingly, is applicable only for the foreign clubs.
Recently, at an event, Torino president Urbano Cairo claimed that he will not be selling Belotti in the summer unless his release clause is met in full.
Speaking to press in Milan, Cairo said: “I have no intention of selling him, but there’s a €100m release clause. If someone brings the €100m then I would have to let him go. There’s a clause, so if a foreign team comes in and brings that number I’ll have to sell him. That is unless the player decides to refuse and remains.”
Manchester United, who are shorthanded for striking options due to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s injury, will need to burn some serious cash to land Belotti.
The Red Devils are also looking at Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata as a potential signing to replace their injured Swedish superstar.
