What Ronaldo Did After Scoring Penalty For Juventus Will Suprise You

Cristiano Ronaldo had a curiously inactive outing when Juventus lost 2-1 to Young Boys in the Champions League.

The Portuguese forward’s antics had led the side to the top of the table, but a loss for Manchester United elsewhere was what secured their place, ensuring a relatively easy pool of opponents for the Round of 16.

In their next encounter, a Serie A derby against Torino, Ronaldo made no mistake and his penalty made history for the Old Lady. The goal was the 5000th one that the Italian giants had scored in the league.

However, what he did after the penalty was questionable, to say the least.

Immediately after netting the goal from the spot, a feat that Ronaldo has been all too familiar with in his career, the superstar went on to chest-bump the Torino goalkeeper.

A tad bit too aggressive, despite the nature of the derby and it wasn’t a surprise when the referee showed a yellow card to the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star.

The goal was the decisive winner in the game, maintaining the brilliant performance that Juventus have had this season. Ronaldo has scored 12 times in 21 games in all competitions, aiding 8 assists as well.

While such a behavior is certain to get social media storming, one does wonder what merits him to argue about the decision later on. Many also poked fun at the fact that such a milestone for Juventus arrived through a penalty from Ronaldo, in accordance with the regular trolls that the 33-year-old receives.

While their Serie A dominance seems all but certain, what the Old Lady will well and truly wish from their expensive signing is the Champions League trophy.

Undeniably a specialist in the European competition, Ronaldo’s brilliance will somehow have to compete against other giants who have been displaying unprecedented levels of football.
