Tottenham Manager is England’s Best, Says Sir Alex Ferguson

Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson believes Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is the best manager in England, according to David Lammy.

Last week, Twitter went crazy after BBC’s Dan Walker hinted that Manchester United were preparing a move for Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino to take over as manager from next season.

Speaking on the Spurs Show podcast, the MP for Tottenham, David Lammy, 43, revealed that he was recently in the company of Sir Alex, who happened to mention it to him at a dinner.

‘I’m going to let you in to a secret,’ said the politician.

‘About six weeks ago I sat next to Alex Ferguson at a dinner in support of grassroots football abroad.

‘He said to me, I think you guys have the best manager in the Premier League.’

However, Jose Mourinho is convinced that he is going to replace Louis van Gaal at Manchester United, according to The Daily Mail.
