Barcelona Planning A Three Player Swap Deal With Arsenal For Mesut Özil
Barcelona are planning an audacious player exchange deal with Arsenal for star play-maker Mesut Özil, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
Özil has been excellent for Arsenal this season, scoring 8 goals and bagging 20 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners, and attracting Barcelona’s interest in the process.
In fact, Barcelona have reportedly been so impressed by the 27-year-old play-maker, that they are ready to offer Arda Turan, Sandro and Munir in exchange for his services.
Arda Turan has scored twice and assisted four times in 17 appearances for Barcelona since joining the Catalan club, and may prove to be a fantastic addition for Arsène Wenger’s side.
20-year-old Munir has been impressive as well this season, by contributing with 8 goals and 7 assists in 25 games.
Sandro, also 20, is capable of playing across the front line, and has enormous potential.
However, Arsenal may still turn down the offer for their star player, who has a hardcore fan-following at the Emirates.

Özil too, made it clear last month that he is enjoying his time at Arsenal by stating: ‘I’m happy to play for such a big club and happy to live in London.’
However, the prospect of joining the reigning European Champions and playing behind the mesmerizing trio of Neymar, Suarez and Messi may prove way too tempting for the German to resist.
