Louis Van Gaal Dreams Of Returning To His Former Club

Louis van Gaal dreams of returning to his former club Ajax, according to Dutch football manager Co Adriaanse.

Co Adriaanse, who is a former Ajax manager himself, has claimed that Van Gaal wants to return to Ajax and become the club’s head of youth development.

Van Gaal’s future at Manchester United is currently under serious doubt due to a series of below-par performances by the Red Devils.

Netherlands Desire Louis Van Gaal As Their Technical Director

In fact, numerous reports are already suggesting that United have already signed a pre-contract with the ‘Special One’ Jose Mourinho.

Adriaanse had his say about Van Gaal in a recent interview with NOS, where he revealed: “In his heart, Van Gaal still dreams of being the head of youth development at Ajax.

“He’s wanted that job for the last 10 years. Might be why he rejected Dutch FA role. Ajax are looking for a new Head of Youth Academy at the moment.”

If Van Gaal doesn’t get sacked this season, he’ll continue to manage the Old Trafford club for one more season.

However, the Dutchman has stated publicly that the Manchester United job will be his last one, since he has promised his wife he’ll retire once and for all in the summer of 2017.
