Teddy Sheringham Wants Harry Kane To Move To A Big Club

Former Spurs and Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham has stated that he thinks Harry Kane should move to a bigger club this summer.

Kane has been one of the best strikers in England this season, and his 22 goals in his last 26 league appearances have helped Tottenham mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title.

The English forward’s consistently staggering displays have attracted the interest of numerous European giants, including Real Madrid – a club that lured Luka Modric and Gareth Bale away from Spurs not too long ago.

Teddy Sheringham has had his say on Harry Kane’s future in a recent interview with the Daily Mail.

“I’m sure there are top clubs looking at him and they’d be prepared to break the bank just because of the way he plays and the way he wants to score goals every time he gets the ball,” said the 50-year-old.

“Should he move right now? I don’t know. Timing’s a funny thing in football because you have to take the opportunity when it arises. If you don’t, another striker might go to United or Real Madrid or whoever we’re talking about and you won’t get the chance again for another four or five years.

“You’ve only got a period of about 12 years in professional football and when these things come along you have to take tough decisions. Sometimes they feel right and you have to go with the flow.”
