Felipe Anderson Talks About His Failed Summer Transfer And His Lazio Future

The Brazilian winger was heavily linked with a move away from Lazio, with one Italian journalist claiming he overheard Lazio president confirming the sale to Manchester United in a conversation.

The midfielder says he ‘doesn’t know why’ his Premier League move never materialised. However, he hinted that he is still open on parting ways with Lazio this summer.

On Thursday, in an interview with Globo Esporte, he said: “I don’t know why it didn’t work out. But I’m very calm, I have a long contract ahead.

“I have a good relationship with the club and when I get an offer that is good for me, and especially for the club, I will leave, but I’m calm and I hope I do well for the Olympics National Team.”
