Paul Pogba Interacts With Manchester United Fan

Manchester United fans have been eagerly waiting for updates on what is possibly the longest transfer saga in the past decade.

Well, here’s an update: Paul Pogba is currently in Los Angeles on a holiday, where he is also supposedly going to undergo a medical examination in order to complete his switch to England.

Earlier today, whilst walking around the streets of LA, Pogba met a Manchester United fan, who calls himself “the_fanciest_pj” on Reddit. The fan apparently had a conversation with the Frenchman, and took a picture with the midfielder, which he then posted on Reddit.

The fan wrote:

Guys and gals, this is how it went:

Me and my GF in Beverly Hills. I want to die because I hate that place. I’m in a shit mood just trying to make my GF happy.

Me see him, squeeze my girlfriends arm off.

Me: “P… Paul? Can I have a picture?”

Paul: “No”.

Me: “No you’re not Paul Pogba? Or no I can’t have a picture?”

Paul: “Just kidding. Come here.”

Me: “(weird noises I think).”

Picture is taken.

Me: “Thank you! I’m a massive Man U fan.”

Paul: “Good!”

That’s it guys. That’s how it went. Had I not been nervous I would have tried to talk more. But I very consciously try not to bother famous people and he had like 8 big friends with him.

Edit: Oh I forgot to mention, I don’t know if it’s helpful at all, but when I approached him, I heard him say Raiola’s name a couple times to his friends. He was smiling and speaking French, but I heard what sounded like a French guy saying “Raiola” at least two times.

The Reddit user seems to confirm that Pogba is happy that he is a Manchester United fan. He also mentions that Pogba was talking about his agent, Mino Raiola, before he interrupted the French powerhouse.

Pogba is not giving away too much information about his future, but it is safe to say that Paul Pogba was in discussions with his agent.

It is hard to take much information from this conversation, as the fan was star-struck. However, we are hopeful that Pogba’s deal with Manchester United will pull through.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a record-shattering £112 million move to Manchester United, but only time will tell if the Juventus man will choose to return to Manchester.
