PSG Set To Announce €25m Capture Of Jese Rodriguez
Spanish News Outlet, Marca, have reported that a deal has been agreed between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid over a transfer for the 23-year-old Jese Rodriguez.
The fee agreed is believed to be €25 million, according to news reports. PSG’s coach, Unai Emery, also agreed that his club are pursuing the Spanish attacker.
“It’s a possibility, as are other opportunities in the transfer window. I know Jese well, the club knows Jese well, he is a good player,” Emery stated.
Paperwork and other agreements are believed to be already sorted, and all that is left is for both clubs to officially announce the switch.
The French Champions lost Zlatan Ibrahimović this year, meaning that PSG have only one main striker left in their squad – Edinson Cavani. Jese might not be able to fill the gap that Zlatan left, but he is sure to progress into a magnificent attacker.

Jese Rodriguez has been with the Los Blancos for almost a decade, beginning his youth career in Real Madrid’s B squad. The youngster joined the youth squad in 2007, and has since went on to secure promotion to the Real Madrid first team. He has made over 90 appearances for the first-team squad, scoring 18 goals while doing so.
Emery tried to sign Jese when he was in charge of Sevilla in 2013, but the European Champions were reluctant to let their player leave.
It is believed that Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, advised the 23-year-old to leave the club and look for a club that are prepared to play him in the first team. However, the Spanish giants were initially looking for a loan deal, but it now seems that this will be a permanent transfer. Full details will be provided once the transfer is officially announced.
Jese didn’t make it into Spain’s Euro 2016 squad, and has struggled to find playing time under Zinedine Zidane. This transfer could therefore, help him progress his career.
