Nani Set For Shock Return To The Premier League

Portuguese winger Nani is apparently set to make a shocking return back to England, but this time for another club with completely different challenges.

Nani was a player bought and developed by Sir Alex Ferguson from 2007 onwards, and his capabilities and skills earned him the title of the ‘Next Ronaldo’. However, after SAF’s departure, Nani was never able to perform at his highest potential, and eventually left the club for Fenerbahce in 2015.

Nani is currently linked with Hull City by the Sun, after their new Portuguese manager Marco Silva is cleverly trying to use previous built relations to persuade the winger to join the Tigers.

The manager coached Nani back when the player joined Sporting Lisbon on loan in 2014, and claimed that the winger had “come home” when he returned to his former club. Nani, currently playing for Valencia, has made 15 appearances this season, but has managed to score only twice.

Last year also saw PL clubs show interest for Nani, especially from Everton, and Serie A interest from Inter Milan, but the La Liga side won the race with a price of £7.2 million.

After spending glory days as a Red Devil and winning the league title, the Champions league, and other domestic cups, taking on a relegation battle with Hull City might be a step too low for the player, but a challenging one if he decides to go ahead with the move.
