James Rodriguez Set For Real Madrid Exit As Zidane Identifies His Replacements
Real Madrid are finally ready to part ways with James Rodriguez after lining up some potential replacements for the Colombian.
Following an impressive World Cup 2014 campaign with his national team, James Rodriguez arrived at Real Madrid with tremendous promise. The talented midfielder did enjoy the early days of his spell in the Spanish capital, but his career has gone completely downhill since the appointment of Zinedine Zidane as the new Los Blancos manager.
James continues to remain out of Zidane’s favour, having only started 11 games in all competitions for Real Madrid so far this season.
A lack of game time has forced the 26-year-old to look for a transfer elsewhere, and he has been consistently linked with a big-money move to the Premier League, with Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United rumoured to be interested in his services.

But now, the playmaker may finally end up moving to England in the upcoming summer, due to the fact that Real Madrid are prepared to let him go after identifying his replacements, reports Spanish outlet Diario Gol.
The La Liga giants have apparently set their eyes on Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli, as Zidane believes the young Englishman can easily replace James in the star-studded Real Madrid squad.
However, given Mauricio Pochettino’s sheer desire to hold on to the talented 20-year-old, and the player’s enormous price tag, it is quite possible for this particular deal to collapse, which is precisely why the reigning European Champions have alternatives in the form of Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl and Monaco starlet Bernardo Silva already lined up.
