Jordi Alba Speaks Of His Frustration At Barcelona
The Spanish speed merchant is among the best in the business in his position but is currently unsettle at the Camp Nou and has vented his frustration in a recent interview.
La Liga outfit Barcelona are currently two points behind arch rivals Real Madrid in the points table and have a mountain to climb to win the domestic title this season.
Luis Enrique is trying everything to get his team back on track and has been using a 3-man defense that has changed quite a few things at the club. It has surely improve their performances in recent times but it has surely hurt the first team chance of one Jordi Alba this season.
One of the quickest full-backs in the world at the moment, Alba was an integral part of the previous couple of seasons at the Camp Nou but loss of form early in the season has seen him fall down the pecking order under the current manager.
He was an unused substitute in the last two games for Barcelona and he has now spoken out on his frustrating in a recent interview. Speaking to Movistar+, Alba revealed that he is frustrated with the lack of playing time at the moment.

Alba said, “I feel the total confidence of the boss here [in the Spain camp], which for me is a compliment and something that fills me with confidence. It’s something I’m not having at Barcelona and that I’d maybe like to have.
“To come here and to have the confidence of Julen gives me a lot of strength. He asks me what I’ve been used to doing in the national team and at Barca in recent years. I notice the trust of the boss and the technical team is at 100 per cent,” he added.
However he revealed that he will work harder and harder to fight for his place in the first team and stated: “When I played, I did not ask for explanations, and I won’t do that now, either.
“I have to work and give everything and when I’m given minutes I have to take advantage of them, as I have always done,” he added.
Luis Enrique three man defense has been the reason for Alba’s lack of game time and these comments will alert Premier League outfit Manchester United who are scouting the 28-year old for a move this summer.
Do you think Alba will quit the Camp Nou come the end of the season?
