In case of ties, the factors that determine the tie-break are head-to-head points, followed by head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head goals scored, total goal difference, total goals scored, Fairplay score, and lastly, a play-off match in a neutral stadium.

So far, a total of 60 teams have featured in the La Liga since its formation. However, only 9 of those clubs have managed to win this prestigious competition – Real Madrid (32), Barcelona (24), Atletico Madrid (10), Athletic Bilbao (8), Valencia (6), Real Sociedad (2), Deportivo La Coruna, Sevilla, and Real Betis (1).
